Don’t let this tiny face fool you… Midge is a fearless little adventurer!
This 4-week-old Chinese Dwarf Hamster recently proved just how determined they are by squeezing out of their enclosure and embarking on a grand expedition through their foster home’s basement! After hours of searching, Midge was finally discovered peeking out from between boxes in the storage room. This tiny explorer is incredibly lucky to have been found safe and sound!

Midge came to us after their family unknowingly purchased a pregnant hamster from a pet store. Now this curious little one is ready to find a forever home where future adventures happen inside a secure, escape-proof habitat!

Chinese Dwarf Hamsters are active, inquisitive little pets that love to explore. Midge will need a spacious enclosure, lots of enrichment, and gentle, patient handling. We are currently unsure of Midge’s gender.

Because of their delicate size, Chinese Dwarf Hamsters are not suitable pets for young children. They thrive with adopters who understand their unique needs and can provide a safe environment.
