Their adoption process
Our adoption process starts with the submittal of an Adoption Application online and a phone interview with one of our adoption coordinators. To be sure the long distance adoption is the right match for both the dog and family, we offer virtual video conference meeting for your new family member. Following verification and approval of your adoption application, we will arrange a professional transport of our new family member to your area. Our adoption donations range from $200-$300 depending on circumstances of the rescue dog, age, breed, etc. Professional transportation for your new family member is $150. We require a signed contract, driver's license and vet reference.
Go meet their pets
Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter in the New England area. Therefore it is not possible to meet our rescues in person prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new families each week! The professional transport service is certified through the USDA. Our rescue dogs can be returned to us if things don't work out. We want each adoption to be for a forever home, so we try very hard to make sure it's the right match! Video conference meetings available and encouraged.

A.A.R.F. is making a difference not only in the lives of these wonderful, abandoned and neglected animals, but also in our community. We encourage you to see the wonderful dogs and puppies that we have available for adoption – and the best part is that we have a local transportation company, P.E.T.S. LLC (as seen on Animal Planet’s “Last Chance Highway”) right next door!
