McFarland Animal Services is committed to protecting both animals and the community by providing care, shelter, and support for lost, stray, and abandoned animals. Animal Control Officers work proactively to reunite pets with their families whenever possible and ensure impounded animals receive safe, compassionate care while awaiting their next opportunity. Through public education on responsible pet ownership, vaccinations, spay/neuter programs, and local animal ordinances, the department promotes animal welfare and community safety. Animals in our care may be reunited with their owners, adopted into loving homes, or transferred to rescue partners, giving them the best possible chance for a positive outcome.
