Their adoption process

We strongly suggest doing a week trial period before finalizing an adoption to make sure it's a good match! We provide all of the start up supplies so you do not have to purchase anything prior.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    Visit our website and click Adopt. Fill out application :)
  2. Meet the Pet
    After you fill out the application at unfurget.org under Adopt we will get in touch so that you can meet the animal
  3. Take the Pet Home
    If you meet them and like them then you're welcome to take them on a week trial adoption to make sure it's a good fit!

Most of our animals are in foster homes but sometimes we have cats available at the adoption center in Hanover MA.

We are an all volunteer 501c3 group in Southeastern MA. We primarily take in the "misfits" which are usually senior animals, unwanted hunting dogs, stray and feral cats and kittens.
