After application approval, we take the dog to the new home. We also make sure other pets are introduced safely before the application is approved. We do not have our own shelter.

We are a group that takes at-risk dogs, dogs that need medical attention, and dogs that are the result of abuse cases out of the Loudon County Animal Shelter. Since we do not have a shelter, we put them directly into foster homes.
We have adoption events that we publicize on social media and if a dog has an approved application, we have them come to the foster home to meet the dog.

The Loudon K9 Paws and Tails is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization, that partners with the animal shelter located in Loudon, TN. We are a separate organization that works alongside the County staffed animal shelter to support the rehabilitation, training, medical needs, rescue transport and re-homing of dogs.
