We are a foster based program.
Adoption steps
- Submit ApplicationApplication is screened to meet minimum requirements, and then a vet check is performed. The application is approved when it passes VC.
- InterviewFoster families speak with viable candidates. If they are a good match, then a Home visit is done. I
- Meet the PetIf they pass the home visit, they meet the dog along with their resident dogs.
- Approve ApplicationIf the meet and greet goes well, the adoption in finalized.

RAGOM is a 501(c)(3) volunteer-based, nonprofit organization operating in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and western Wisconsin. Since 1985, RAGOM has rescued and rehomed more than 9,000 Golden Retrievers and Golden Retriever mixes.
