We require a meet-and-greet with the animal you are interested in and an interview with an adoption counselor to discuss what type of animal you are looking for and what your home environment is like. Once an animal is agreed upon by the adopter and adoption counselor, the adopter will review and sign the adoption contracts and provide a minimum donation of $100 for dogs (just the basic vetting -spay/neuter, shots and microchip cost us $175-225 per dog) and a minimum donation of $65 for cats (basic vetting- spay/neuter and shots cost us about $90-125 for cats). If animals being adopted are too young for spay/neuter and/or rabies, services will be arranged when age-appropriate.
