Their adoption process
Our adoption process is designed to find the best possible match for both our dogs and their future families.
Submit an adoption application.
Our team reviews the application and contacts references if needed.
If approved, we'll arrange a meet-and-greet with the dog's foster family.
If it's a good fit, the adopter may begin a foster-to-adopt trial (for eligible dogs) or move forward with the adoption.
Once all adoption requirements are met, the adoption is finalized and the dog officially becomes part of your family.
All of our dogs receive age-appropriate veterinary care prior to adoption, which may include vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, heartworm testing, and preventatives, depending on the dog's age and medical needs.
We are committed to lifetime support for every dog we place. If you can no longer care for your adopted dog at any point in its life, it must be returned to Animal Angels Network so we can ensure it is placed in another safe, loving home.

Animal Angels Network is a foster-based rescue, so we do not have a physical shelter that is open to the public. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout Missouri and the surrounding region.
We operate through a foster-to-adopt program rather than traditional meet-and-greets. If you are interested in one of our dogs, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Once your application is approved and we determine that a dog may be a good fit for your home, we can discuss moving forward with a foster-to-adopt placement.
During the foster-to-adopt period, the dog remains under Animal Angels Network while you have the opportunity to welcome them into your home and make sure they are a good fit for your family. Our fosters are given the first opportunity to adopt the dog in their care.

Animal Angels Network is a foster-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in Rogersville, Missouri. Our mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, and at-risk dogs, provide them with the medical care and rehabilitation they need, and place them in safe, loving homes where they can thrive.
Because we are foster-based, every dog lives in a home environment where we can learn about their personality, behavior, and needs before matching them with an adopter. This allows us to make thoughtful, lasting placements that set both the dog and the adopter up for success.
