- Meet the Petmost often in the foster's home where the animal is most themself
- Home Checkthen a start of a mandatory 7 day sleepover period with constant check-ins with adoption counselor

Go meet their pets
We do not have a physical location, like a shelter. Instead all of our animals are in individual foster homes “on couches instead of in cages!”
It’s not possible to schedule a myriad of meetings in people’s private homes, so filling out an application is the first step to meeting a pet.
However, we regularly have adoption events in the community. You can check our calendar for scheduled events, but often more impromptu events are announced on our Facebook page.

We believe every animal deserves a chance and founded Rochester Rascals to be a bridge between unclaimed stray pets and their loving furever homes.
Rochester Rascals is 100% volunteer-run, including our all volunteer Leadership Circle.
All of our animals are rescued from the Greater Rochester, New York area and surrounding counties.
We have no physical location - all of our animals are in loving foster homes.
With no paid staff and no overhead, you can feel good that ALL of your donations go directly to animal care.
