My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor Spunky Monkey was adopted from a pound when he was a puppy to what seemed like a wonderful home. Little did the animal control officers know he would be abused and neglected and that he would eventually come back to the same pound! When he was finally surrendered to animal control, he was suffering from gangrene and in a lot of pain. Poor little Sunky couldn't even sit down because he hurt so bad so he continually rested on his chest. The owners had broken his tail and sought no medical help at all for him. spunky was in such pain he didn't know what to do so he chewed his tail off and it set up gengrene! When he was taken from the pound by Sweetpups Dog Rescue, he was immediately hospitalized and his little tail was amputated. He is well now and has a little bob tail that he wags constantly. He is so loving and playful now, full of life and love and it's hard to believe this is the same little man that was so sick!
If you are looking for a doggie that will make you laugh and then cuddle up beside you, he's the one. Spunky Monkey's adoption fee is $100. He is up to date on shots, neutered, heartworm negative and on prevention and ready for the forever home that will make him part of the family.
