Their adoption process
We are a small-non profit organization that is currently being run out of another space, as of right now we are adopting out kittens from the community cats in our area that have not been fixed. We only have two more cats in our area left to neuter and spay. The main goal of our organization is help facilitate TNR in our community. While we occasionally have kittens to adopt out it is not our main goal.
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- InterviewA phone interview will then be conducted.
- Approve ApplicationIf all goes well, we will approve the application.
- Meet the PetYou come to our location and meet the pet.
- Sign Adoption ContractWe give a small contract to sign.
- Pay Fee
- Take the Pet HomeYou are then able to take the pet home.
Go meet their pets
We are not open to the public and encourage adopters to submit their adoption application. After that we will set a meeting time to come meet the kittens and discuss adoption.
More about this rescue
Meow Mission is dedicated to managing feral cat colonies. We work with other rescue and foster programs to provide:
Better Trapping: Trapping is hard. Many cats are trap savvy and are lost or injured during this stressful process. To make matters worse, an entire colony must be trapped to effectively control reproduction. Our trained trappers quickly and safely catch cats and kittens, and our live representatives and on-line scheduling makes it easy to track every rescued animal’s progress to adoption or safe release.
Foster Support: Meow Mission makes it easy to foster feral cats by providing support at little or no cost. Our live representatives can provide technical and moral support when necessary, and at-home delivery of cages, bedding, supplies, quality food, toys, and everything needed to support those who foster cats. In sum, we foster fosters.
Rescue: Holidays, staff shortages, and catastrophic events, and a host of unpredictable events often cause existing shelters to be overrun. When needed, Meow Mission assembles and dispatches teams of trappers, technicians, and volunteers to stabilize and assist during these extraordinary times of need.
