The Humane Society is a small shelter with with a big heart, in a county with a massive cat overpopulation problem. Our long-term goal is to see 80% of the dogs & cats spayed/neutered and microchipped by 2035 to reduce our stray population by up to 80%.
We are currently working toward opening a low-cost spay/neuter clinic for our county to begin addressing the many animal welfare issues at their root cause.
