Cat’s Cradle of Greater Richmond is a small, foster-based, all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue dedicated to helping cats and kittens find loving, forever homes. Founded in 2005, our organization is built on compassion, dedication, and the belief that every cat deserves a chance at a better life.

Our volunteers and foster families work tirelessly to provide care, shelter, socialization, and medical attention to the cats who come into our program. From playful kittens to shy cats who need a little extra time to trust, we strive to find the right match for every cat and every family.

We rely on our incredible volunteers, foster families, adopters, and generous donors to keep our mission going. Every adoption, donation, foster home, and volunteer hour makes a difference in the lives of the cats we serve.

Our goal is simple: to give cats a second chance, connect them with loving families, and help them find the safe, happy lives they deserve.
