More about this rescue

Angie’s Dog House is a nonprofit, volunteer-based animal rescue organization headquartered in Foley, Alabama, with a strong and growing foster network throughout Michigan that serves as a primary pathway to adoption. Through our dedicated Michigan foster families, rescued dogs are given safe, loving homes while they await adoption, allowing them to decompress, build confidence and find their perfect forever families. We also transport dogs for direct adoption to Michigan and Connecticut.

Our mission is to save animals who have been abandoned, neglected or left homeless through no fault of their own. We focus on rescuing dogs from overcrowded, high-kill shelters in Alabama, Texas and Louisiana where they face the risk of euthanasia, as well as animals surrendered by their owners or rescued from abusive and neglectful situations.

Our Michigan foster network is at the heart of our adoption efforts, giving dogs a second chance while connecting them with loving families throughout the state. With the help of our dedicated volunteers, fosters and adopters, we’re turning uncertain futures into happy endings, one animal at a time.
