Their adoption process

At Two Broads Into Strays, Inc., our priority is finding safe, loving, and permanent homes for every cat and kitten in our care.

All adopters are required to complete an adoption application and sign an adoption agreement. Every cat and kitten will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, with no exceptions. We also provide age-appropriate veterinary care and available medical records.

Our adoption agreement outlines the adopter’s responsibilities, including providing proper veterinary care, maintaining a safe indoor environment, and ensuring their cat receives lifelong love and care.

We believe adoption is a lifetime commitment. If an adopter can no longer care for their cat, they must contact our organization before making alternative placement arrangements.

Our goal is to ensure every adoption is a successful and lasting match for both the cat and their new family.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
Complete our adoption application honestly and thoroughly. Our team will review it and contact you regarding the next steps.
  2. Interview
Selected applicants will have a brief phone interview to discuss pet experience, answer questions, and ensure a good match.
  3. Home Check
A brief virtual or in-person home check may be requested to ensure a safe, loving environment for your new cat.
  4. Approve Application
Approved applications remain valid for six months. If one cat isn’t a match, you may meet another.
  5. Meet the Pet
Once approved, we’ll arrange a meet-and-greet to help you find the perfect cat or kitten for your family.
  6. Sign Adoption Contract
All adopters must sign our adoption agreement outlining proper care, indoor living, and lifelong responsibility.
  7. Pay Fee
Once the contract is signed and adoption fee is paid, your new family member is ready to go home with you!

About Us

Two Broads Into Strays, Inc.

One Life at a Time. Every Cat Deserves a Chance.

Who We Are

Two Broads Into Strays, Inc. was founded by two women who share one passion: making a difference in the lives of cats who need it most.

With years of hands-on experience fostering, caring for, and advocating for cats and kittens, we’ve witnessed firsthand the struggles that homeless, abandoned, and forgotten animals face every single day.

What started as a shared love for animals grew into something much bigger — a determination to create an organization where compassion comes first and every cat matters.

We’re not a large organization with endless resources. We’re two dedicated women who believe that even the smallest efforts can make an enormous difference.

What We Do

Our mission focuses on three important things: TNR, Adoption, and Education.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR): We work to humanely reduce community cat overpopulation through trapping, spaying and neutering, and returning community cats to their familiar outdoor environments when appropriate.

Adoption: We provide care, socialization, and a safe environment for cats and kittens who are candidates for adoption, helping them find loving, responsible, forever homes.

Education: We believe lasting change begins with knowledge. Through community outreach and education, we promote responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering, and compassionate treatment of community cats.

Why We Do It

Because we’ve seen what happens when nobody steps in.

We’ve cared for the tiniest kittens fighting to survive, watched frightened cats slowly learn to trust, and experienced both the heartbreak of loss and the incredible joy of seeing a once-forgotten animal thrive.

We’ve spent countless hours feeding, cleaning, nurturing, comforting, and sometimes simply sitting beside an animal who needed to know that someone cared.

And through it all, we’ve learned something important: Every life matters, even when the rest of the world doesn’t notice.

We know we can’t save every cat. But we can change the world for the ones we reach.

Our Promise

We believe every cat deserves compassion, dignity, and a chance at a better life.

We’re committed to making thoughtful decisions, advocating for those without a voice, and helping create a community where fewer cats are born into homelessness.

We may be just two broads, but we’ve got big hearts, a whole lot of determination, and no intention of looking the other way.

One life at a time. One cat at a time. That’s why we do what we do. ❤️🐾
