Their adoption process
You can view our adoptable pets online via our website and then submit an inquiry for adoption at which time we will schedule an appointment to come out to our facility and/or the foster families home to officially visit with or meet & greet the specified pet you are interested in. While visiting our staff may inquire about completing our pre adoption interview that day with one of the staff. Upon your decision to proceed with the next steps in the adoption process, we will set up and schedule a home visit at your home in person or virtually where we will come to ensure the safety of the home for the pet as well as for the safety of your family. During the home check our staff member may ask to interview all that reside in the home to gain knowledge of the daily routine and knowledge of how to care for pets. Once completed the information obtained over all visits thus far will be taken back to the rescue and reviewed by our staff who will unanimously approve or deny the application for that specific pet. In the event you are approved to adopt we will immediately reach out to you to schedule an appointment to come out and finalize the adoption which includes signing the contract, paying any fees and finally taking home your new beloved furbaby that same day. For any reason if we do not approve your application we will also reach out to you via email with an explanation as to why we did feel that moving forward with the adoption at this time was appropriate.

- Meet the PetWE WILL REACH OUT AFTER YOUR INQUIRY IS RECEIVED BY OUR RESCUE TO DISCUSS & SCHEDULE AN IN PERSON MEET & GREET WITH THE PET
- Home CheckTHIS WILL BE CONDUCTED TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF THE ADOPTABLE PET AS WELL AS YOUR FAMILY FOR ONCE THE PET LEAVES OUR RESCUE.
- InterviewDURING THE HOME CHECK WE WILL COMPLETE A INTERVIEW WITH ALL RESIDING IN THE HOME TO AGAIN GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF DAILY ROUTINES FOR SAFETY OF PET
- Approve ApplicationINFO GAINED DURING STEPS 1-3 WILL BE REVIEWED BY STAFF TO ENSURE SAFETY & ACCURATE MATCH FOR FAMILY & PET. IF APPROVED WE WILL CONTACT YOU.
- Sign Adoption ContractUPON APPROVAL, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED TO COME TO SIGN CONTRACT, PAY ANY FEES, AND FINALIZE THE ADOPTION.
- Take the Pet HomeYOU WILL BE ABLE TO TAKE HOME YOUR NEW ADOPTED PET ON THE SAME DAY AS YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT, PAY FEES & FINALIZE THE ADOPTION.

MMFFResq was formally known for being one of many smaller rescue organizations in and around the Cameron NC area. Open and established since 2015 we are a nonprofit, 501c3 tax exempt special needs all breeds animal rescue, rehab and rehoming facility for in need animals looking for loving homes. Now based out of Thomasville NC we are still serving the entire state of NC but are in Davidson County helping to save more animals in need and plan on still continuing to help animals all over the state in need of help or assistance with being adopted.
