My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*BLUE*

BLUE was rescued from the OCAC Shelter. Blue was originally picked up off the streets and brought into the OCAC shelter by a kind citizen hoping his owners would be able to locate him. Sadly no one ever came. A rescue ended up pulling Blue and adopting him out. Sadly his new owners decided approximately 1 year after adopting him that they no longer wanted him and dropped him BACK off at the shelter! The original rescued declined to save Blue and he was labeled as “RESCUE ONLY” due to being “Aggressive.”

Blue is *NOT* aggressive. Sadly we find many dogs are labeled this whether is it from poor temp tests or the stress from the shelter we will never know. OCPP was contacted by the original person who found Blue when he was living on the streets and we couldn’t turn our back on a dog who didn’t sadly have the backing of his original rescue.

Blue is: Neutered, Microchipped, Up to date on vaccinations and Dewormed.
Adoption Donation of $250.00 is asked for Blue.

We have named him “blue” because the shelter says he only likes his blue color and leash he came in to the shelter with. He probably is trying to hold on to the ONLY thing he has left from his previous family :(
