**CURRENTLY BEING FOSTERED IN THE PORTLAND, OREGON AREA **

Crystal's instincts are quite honed to have survived on her own in the desolate desert, but they were especially valuable for her 4-month-old pup who was also dumped with her. Trotting aimlessly on the edge of the two-lane highway rather than hiding in the brush, Crystal and Skeeter were easily spotted and picked up by a dog-friendly trucker who brought them to FHS. While Skeeter was a handful of puppy energy (and quickly adopted), Crystal is a calm, gentle soul who enjoys the company of people and other dogs (no cats). Her low key demeanor can sometimes give way to a burst of exuberance, which makes her a perfect combination of couch potato and running partner. 6 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and crate/leash/dog door trained. Currently being fostered in Portland, Oregon.
