My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amy is a Great Pyrenees mix who came to us from the Woodbury Humane Society. We think Amy is about 7 years old although it is hard to tell as she is quite spirited. Amy ended up at a shelter after her owner had to enter a nursing home, and we took her from there hoping to find her a forever home.

Amy has lovely manners and she does great with cats and other dogs. Amy even barks politely when she wants to go outside or come back in. She loves people of all ages and really loves children. Amy’s greatest joy is being with her family. Amy enjoys family trips and does well in a great variety of social settings. She is just an all around nice dog.

Amy is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. She is on an inexpensive medication, in the form of a pill, for hypothyroidism but is in otherwise fine health.

Amy walks well on a leash and is fairly obedient, therefore fencing is not a requirement to adopt her. A site visit, adoption application, and adoption fee are required to adopt Amy.
