My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marty is appr. 10 mths old and possibly a Red Heeler mix, could be purebred I just am not sure of cattle dogs. He does have a docked tail. Marty was captured as a stray and he was terrified at the shelter and would stay in the back of the kennel with his face buried in the corner. It was heartwreching to know he would most likely be euthanized simply because he was too scared to greet people. I personally fell in love with him, you could see a very awesome dog once he realized he wasn't going to be hurt. Marty has been with a trainer friend at Waggin Tails Dog Ranch where she has brought him out of his shell and taught him leashes are your friend!
He is a very sweet dog, loves other dogs, and once you gain his trust he is the most loyal companion anyone could want in a pet. He just needs a home that will appreciate his very docile nature...he is not trained as a cattle dog and this is not what we want for him as he is too gentle and shy.
We have had him neutered, brought current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention as well as flea/tick prevention. His adoption fee is $100 to go towards his vetting.
