Sweet, Sweet Jenkins (“Just call me Mr. J”)
It was hard to count all the cuts & scrapes on this sweet boy—especially with all those silly black polka dots covering his face, body and ears!!
The vet thinks Jenkins might have gotten caught in a fence, and hurt himself as he tried to get free. But whatever he has been through, this big boy has been nothing but sweet and gentle from the moment we met him.
It was hard to do his vet exam—only because he refused to stop kissing the vet on the face! And when his foster mom sat on the couch, Jenkins instantly assumed that his place was right beside her, snuggled up with his head resting on her shoulder.
Sine that day, Jenkins (Mr. J. to his close friends) has been a total love bug. “This is a dog who desperately wants to be loved,” says his foster mom. “He's a big goofy boy but there'’s a quiet calm about him. He charms everyone he meets.”
Jenkins deserves a home where he’ll be a cherished family member. He'll spend every day saying thank you to the person who makes his dreams come true!
About Mr. Polka Dots:
• ~1-2 year old pit mix; ~60 pounds; has shots; scheduled for neutering on July 5th
• Extraordinarily sweet and loving; loves everyone he meets; wags his tail like crazy when he sees another dog (definitely wants to play)
• Well-mannered, house-trained, great on the leash and in the car.
• Playful but calm. Jenkins is an old soul who just wants a person to call his own
