My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE 8/01/11: Bernie loves hugs!! A fur sibling would be a plus for her, since she still loves to play! She just had her vet checkup; Bernie is all clear and is up to date on her vaccines. As a pup (around 3 months of age), Bernie had a broken right leg that was fixed and healed properly. There are no signs of any lasting effects, as she runs, jumps, hops, and plays like any other young pup! The vet did notice a mild-grade patella luxation in her right hind leg, which can be common with small dogs. If you are looking to add a playful, lovable, sweetheart to your family - Bernie is your girl!!

UPDATE 7/25/11: Bernie loves life! She is playful, lovable, and her tail does not stop wagging! Bernie is such a sweetheart! She is a beautiful yorkie (possibly maltese) mix. She loves to play with her young foster sibling and then take a cozy nap on the couch. As a puppy, she will need a home that is patient and willing to take time to train her, since she is still learning to potty outside. So far, she is doing a great job!

Initial bio 7/23/11: Hello, my name is Bernie. I am a 7 month old, 7 pound little girl who's new to this rescue stuff so I'm not ready to say much yet. I will get back to you soon with more information about me though. In the meantime, feel free to email my foster mom with any questions.
