My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cricket is an owner surrender from Texas. We think she is around 5 or 6 years old. Cricket is spayed and up to date on Bordatella, Rabies and 7 in 1 (DHPP-C) shots. She was Heartworm positive and received her first treatment on 10/5, which she tolerated well. She had her second treatment on 10/30. Cricket is 14 pounds and does not jump up on people. She loves to cuddle and wants to be the focal point of attention. She has not been tested with kids, but she probably would be good with children. She does fine with most other dogs, but does want to be the dominant dog getting all the attention and she does NOT like cats. She is house trained, crate trained and loves to go for walks. Cricket will need a very secure fenced back yard as she loves to chase rabbits and squirrels and will go under a fence to keep chasing them if she can find a hole to squirm under. Cricket shivers and shimmies all over when you come into the room or when its time to go for a walk or eat. She has been working on sit for treats and meals. No cringes, but lots of wiggles. Cricket would be a good dog for someone who wants a small lap dog as she enjoys being held and loved on. CRICKET's Adoption fee is $250.
