ALLEY GIRL
Hi everyone!! My name is Alley, I am about 11 months old and weigh 65 lbs.
All about me...
I am one lucky girl I tell ya! I got my name of Alley because someone tied me up to the back "alley" door of a vet clinic with a major wound in my rear rump. Dr. Mahajan and Debbie of Avon Animal Clinic did surgery on my severe laceration on Jan. 3rd and again on Jan 16. Their surgical care saved my life and then they found me a rescue to go to to heal up and find a forever home of my own. I am a very sweet girl, I know how to sit and like to ride in the car so far. I haven't been able to do a whole lot of activities as I am still healing up from bad cut. I like to play with my pal Little Louie and chew on the nyla bones. Were not totally sure on my breed but they think maybe Vizla/Lab/Hound/Shepherd.
My training & manners info.
I'm a very smart girl, I know how to sit and walk pretty well on a leash - I pull a little at first (the hound in me) but once we get going I'm good. I'm crate-trained and housebroken.
Are you the right family for me?
I would love an active loving family of my own. My foster mom doesnt have kids but thinks I would do great with them.
How I feel about other furry creatures.
So far I get along with some of the other dogs I have met here. I just get a little nervous when I first meet them. It would be great if you dont have any cats, I love to chase and chase them but I am getting better with that. My foster mom would like it if you had a fenced in yard too.
How to adopt me!
Our animals are in private foster homes, only approved applicants may schedule appointments to meet the animals. A complete application should be submitted and a volunteer will contact you upon approval. We have a minimum age requirement of 21, more information regarding adoption policies can be seen at our website www.resq4paws.org. The adoption fee of $200 - $300 includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, micro- chipping, heartworm test, 30 days of free ShelterCare (TM) pet insurance. To fill out an application, please visit www.resq4paws.org You can e-mail us but please realize we are volunteers and trying to keep up, applications take precedence and they are approved based on the best home for the dog NOT on a first come first serve basis. E-mailing also gives us more time to spend with the animals verses answering the phone and returning phone calls. We do not return out of state calls.
