Hello! my fosters call me YamYam, because they think my fur looks dappled and garden-y, like a sweet potato or yam from the garden. I'm a whimsical calico with bright green eyes.
I am a great companion kitty: I love "help" you with whatever you are doing. I am very good at playing fetch with you with my stuffed mouse! I really like being petted and brushed. I am a v. obedient kitty: my fosters trained me which rooms I'm allowed to go in, and to only scratch on my scratch pad. I really love having a scratch pad. At the moment my favorite one is the cheap corrugated cardboard kind.
I am also very good at entertaining myself, so I would be a good kitty for someone who can't be home all the time. I can play with my toys all day long! And I really like to play fetch with you when you are around, with my stuffed mouse! I will really bring it back to you so you can throw it for me to chase.
I can accept other animals well. I would also love to be an outdoor/indoor kitty. Something about a little sun nap in the dirt quite appeals to me. Although I can nap in the sun indoors too!
I am all litter box trained, and am currently eating Purina One dry food and Friskies canned food.
All OK Humane cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on all boosters, have been dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, have received a Rabies vaccination if they are old enough, been microchipped and have tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia. The cat adoption fee is $75. Please stop by our Adoption Center Tuesday through Saturday 11 AM - 7 PM, Sunday Noon - 5 PM @ 7500 N Western Avenue, 405-286-1229.
