My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spike who was found walking along a busy road in PA. Luckily a lovely woman found him and put him in her car and took him home, and took care of him. They tried to find his owner but were unsuccessful so she contacted ABR, to get him into rescue.

Spike is a very sweet and lovable boy he truly wants to please, and in such a short time has settled down into our routine. He has good manners and is housebroken. I slowly introduced Spike to his crate and he has figured out that it is a good place to sleep. We have a standard poodle and they get along just fine. Spike has also enjoyed the many neighborhood kids that are in and out of the house. The kids can get right down on the floor to give him pets and kisses and Spike just eats it up. We have a cat, but the cat does not care for dogs and prefers to stay away. In the evenings we go for short walks and enjoy it very much. Spike has become attached to me in the short time he has been here, and ends up sleeping where ever I am. Spike and I have gone for a few car rides and he is a good boy and seems to enjoy the ride. It is Obvious, that someone loved this sweet boy very much.

Since Spike was wondering the streets, we don’t know much about him, but he is UTD on his shots and is HW negative.
