My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dog Story:
Grouse is a 9 year old neutered male (born 4/1998). Grouse spent most of his time outdoors in a kennel but he definitely is an indoors boy. He has been indoors since we started fostering him. Surprisingly, he is housetrained, he can hold his potty around 9 hours while we are at work, and does fine in his crate while we are gone. He is just starving for attention. Anytime you sit down, he plops down by you and rolls on his back so you can rub his belly. He is a nervous little guy. He has some discoloration on his legs from past nervous licking. Overall his health is good. Apparently, he was hit by a car in the past and he has a patch of hair missing on his right back leg as a result. He is an overall happy go lucky guy. He gets along with both of our dogs (male, and female); he is easy to walk and does well on a leash. He is not a barker, which is a plus.

History:
Grouse came to us when his owner contacted us as they could not give Grouse the attention that he needed. A family member was allergic, and Grouse had to spend most of his time in a kennel outside.

Grouse is up to date on his shots, and is heartworm negative and is on preventative.
