My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

New Puppies! Born December 4, 2006, this litter of eight puppies is in foster care & looking for homes. Each one is cute as can be with a mixture of Border Collie & Australian Blue Heeler breeds. This means they are all going to be rambunctious intellectuals! They'll need room to run, run, run while they think, think, think!

The puppies are being fostered with other puppies on a horse farm. This means children, adults, barn cats, of course other dogs AND horses are around the puppies helping to socialize them. The major exposure to so many species bodes well for each puppy & future family (you?) because a well socialized dog is a good dog. (Followed by the other slogan: A tired dog is a good dog.)

This particular puppy, Billy Bob is the biggest in the bunch & ironically, the most mellow. Laid-back, he has a mesmerizing look that compels you to cuddle him for long periods of time. Based on his bruiser size, we suspect he is going to be one stout cattle dog, but such a love--the best kind there is!

Please note: Each puppy's adopter is expected to be knowledgeable about (or willing to learn) how to housetrain a puppy. Housetraining puppies involves frequent trips outside by puppy AND person (on leash even in a fenced yard) with lots of praise &/or rewards. No puppies go potty indoors for spite. It's all up to the people to teach the puppy kindly & patiently where acceptable potty spots are.

If you need a little more love in your life from the paws of a puppy like this one, & if you want to give a little more love from your life to our puppy friend, please contact Beckey, the foster mom, via email. She can send you an application.

We project that the adoption fees for these puppies is likely to be around $125 each if all goes well with the vetting.

Thanks for visiting our mellow mister Billy Bob.
