Hi my name is Hershey, a.k.a Hershey Kisses, because I give good ones! I am a well-behaved boy who just wants to be loved. I am shy at first but once I get to know you I am your best friend. I love belly rubs and will flop on my side when I snuggle up to you… I just can’t help myself.
I am house trained but love to mark my territory in the yard. I do need some special attention when it comes to my health. Because I have diabetes and weighed almost 30# when I came to PROoF, I am on a special diet and am happy to report I am losing weight. I take insulin for my diabetes and a thyroid pill twice daily when I eat. Other than that I am a breeze to live with.
I love to sleep in the bed with the humans and although I am overweight, I don’t snore! I also love to take walks. Oh, and by the way, I do get really excited when it is time to eat. I squeal with anticipation as my food is being dished out. What can I say…I’m a pug!
I love my foster parents but please find me soon if you think you are my forever home. I can’t wait to meet you and give you a kiss! Complete an adoption application here.
