My story

Meet our latest “Bullmastiff” – Hooch!
We moved him up to PA from a high kill shelter in TN, only to discover that he’s not a Bullmastiff after all! However, he’s ours now (well, sort of – we’re sharing him with Boxer rescue). We suspect he’s a Boxer/Bullmastiff or American Bulldog cross. Everybody that has met this guy absolutely adores him – I suspect that’s why he was IDed as a Bullmastiff – so he didn’t sit at the shelter, waiting to die.
Here are his particulars:

Approx. 2.5 year old male

Loves people (came into rescue because of divorce)

Not good with male dogs
Not good with cats
Good with female dogs

Travels very well

Loves to go for walks

He is very agile, flies into his crate (in the car) and bolts around the

yard, loves to run and frolic





He is in the Carlisle, PA area.



Here’s a quote from his foster mom: “He was very well behaved at the vets, and even when I let go of his leash, he just went to the only rug in the place and laid down and patiently waited for me to get done.”
