My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jake is a 2 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix that is looking for a foster home or his forever home. Jake is very affectionate and cuddly, tries hard to please, is housebroken, can sit on demand, can walk on a lease, knows his name and is very sweet. Jake was removed for a hoarding situation and needs someone that is patient and can provide him with some training. He is nervous around new people and tends to latch on to one person for security. He sometimes resource guards his person and his toys/food. All of these behaviors are a result of living with 95 other dogs and having no real human interaction. With patience, training and time Jake would make a great companion. He would do best in a home with no other animals or with his foster sister Roxie whom he shares a kennel with while he is learning how to interact with humans and other animals.
