My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roxie is a 2-3 yr old Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a big heart and a few quirks. Roxie was rescued from a hoarding situation where 95 other dogs lived in the house with her. She is now territorial at times and tends to resource guard her food and treats. If it is just you and Roxie she is fun-loving and free spirited. She loves to play and sit right up on your lap. She needs work to learn to properly interact with other animals though. She has been sharing a kennel with her foster brother Jake and they get along wonderfully. She is very smart and with patience and training she would make a wonderful companion. If you are willing to work with Roxie and make her a priority in your life as either a foster parent or to adopt please contact Erin at Eryanna99@hotmail.com or Tiny @ Efret@aol.com.

At this time Roxie should only go to a household with a very experienced owner (if there are other pets) or to a home where she is the only animal or with Jake her foster brother. Once she receives the proper training we think she can live with other dogs or cats but the training needs to come first.
