When Piper wakes up in the morning she sings for her breakfast! That’s right, Piper sings! It’s quite peculiar, but highly entertaining! She has a pitched meow that sounds like she's singing for her food, and at her hefty 15 pounds, you better believe she hasn’t missed a single meal!
Piper is a gorgeous chubby kitty with tiger striped spots on her head, tail, and side, a turkish van pattern. She loves attention and purrs loudly when happy. She will play with an occasional mouse or two or roll a ball around, but I wouldn't count on her scoring that winning goal. Her favorite hobby is laying around and napping, and when she is awake, she enjoys sitting in the window meowing at the birds that torment her.
After a long day of singing, napping, and being spoiled, Piper loves nothing more than to cuddle. Her idea of cuddling is sleeping right on top of you! Piper is a very loving kitty, and only wants to be loved in return. She lights up when you enter the room and is happy to show off her singing!
Piper was potentially abused, and then abandoned at the local shelter. Saved from euthanasia, Piper is learning to trust and love again. She can be a bit skiddish of sudden movements and loud noises. She does not like aggressive petting, but slow and soft. She gets overstimulated and can react quickly but her signs of irritation are not subtle. If she does react, she feels terrible and immediately comes back to console, and let you know how much she loves you! Come meet this sweet girl today! Show her how great humans are!
