He was found as a stray, brought to a pound and was given a very short time to live. The Animal Control officer who picked him up made the comment to the pound personnel, “this one is so sweet he needs a chance – get him out of here.” That is just what we did. He is now in foster care and is doing great.
Shane knows his basic commands of sit, down, and stay. We believe that he may have been owned at some point in his life but was dumped to fend for himself on the streets. He is outgoing, playful, very friendly and loves to interact with whatever comes his way. He is good while driving in a car and gets along with adults, children and other dogs. He has a lot of spunk and does need some exercise. We are not sure how he is with cats, but he would probably be fine with them.
Shane is an awesome dog and all he needs to make his life complete is a home of his own and a family to love. He wiggles and kisses and has an unending supply of affection to give.
