My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Skipper! He’s 3 yrs. old and only weighs 16 pounds. A kind volunteer with PROoF(Pug Rescue of Florida) worked very hard to spring me from jail. I was up for adoption with my brother but his new family could only have one dog, boo-hoo! I was very scared without him and not long after that I was attacked by another dog! I was lucky that I didn’t loose my ear and will have a doozy of a scar.My foster Mom thinks it will just add character anyway and shows what a survivor I am! I’m pretty wary of new doggies at first but have learned to trust my new foster brothers and sisters. We love to pile up together in our crate at bedtime. I’m making great progress with my potty training so far, am neutered and up to date on all my vaccinations. I really love my foster Mom and follow her around where ever she goes like a shadow. If I loose sight of her for even a minute I let her know about it in pug talk. I’d probably do better in a home where I wasn’t left alone for long periods of time and have another canine companion to keep me company. I love to show my love and give lots of pug kisses. If you are looking for a sweet boy, I’m it! I’m currently being fostered in Tallahassee and my adoption fee is only $300.
