Georgie is a Shih Tzu. He is Black and WHite. Georgie is 7 Months old and was born April 29th 2011. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs 11.8 lbs.
Georgie is a sweet loving boy! He was born here in the rescue after his mom was brought to the rescue pregnant with her owner no longer able to keep her. Georgie is a young playful pup that loves to play with any size of dog. When he's with his humans he is a total cuddle bug! He'll find a little spot to snuggle beside you and lay his head on your chest. When he's cuddling with you, all you notice is that sweet face and his adorable little underbite which makes him even more handsome. Georgie is a very curious boy who is the one that will search out and find toys that have been hidden by other dogs. He loves to greet you when you come home and he'll learn your schedule very fast and barks a few times when your wake-up alarm goes off. When he's not cuddling with you or playing with the other dogs he loves to just lay underneath the tree and look up at all the pretty lights. Georgie is a fantastic little guy who has a very gentle personality that everyone will fall in love with!
Georgie would do well in any household. He loves adults, kids, other dogs, and cats. Georgie would do well in a household with or without dogs, as long as he has a human that he can snuggle with he's a very content little boy! Georgie is completely puppy pad trained and is slowly being trained to potty outside. We would recommended a harness when walking him because of his small frame and since Georgie sometimes likes to think that the leash is a chew rope. He does great in the car and prefers to lay either on your lap or on the backseat but will be content in a crate as long as he has a little blankie and stuffed toy with him. He has grown up around all sizes and ages of dogs and plays with dogs ranging from 10 to 85 pounds. Georgie is a sweet boy, who's a little shy at first but once he bonds with you, you have a best friend for life. Georgie's sweet personality and angelic face will make him the perfect addition to any family.
Georgie is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $650 Adoption Fee for Georgie. Which includes Three Booster (Parvo/Distemper) Shots, Three Sets of Worming, Three Vet Check Up's, Flea/Tick Prevention, and her spay.
