My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kellie and Katie are being fostered together.

Kellie is a little more reserved, but she has only been with me for about 4 weeks. She has come a long way from hiding under the chairs when she first came, to coming to me for petting when I call. She is showing signs that she can be every bit as affectionate and loving as her sister, Katie.

Katie and Kellie as a pair
With enough time and patience to build trust, these two will steal your heart. Both are naturally affectionate and enjoy human attention (on their own terms of course.) Neither one, Katie especially, does well alone. They seem to need the company of other cats, (preferably each others) or possibly other pets, as well as human attention. They play together, sleep together, groom ...each other and follow each other around. We would strongly recommend that they be adopted together.

Both cats would do best in a quiet and calm environment. They are still easily spooked by new people, sounds and changes, but they should adapt well to a peaceful routine. Neither one is comfortable yet being picked up and held, so, at least initially, they need to be petted when they are free to come and go. Once you have gained their trust and they are comfortable and safe in their surroundings, they should make delightful pets.

All cats are up to date on shots, microchipped, fixed, and tested felv/fiv negative. Adoption Fee: $55 donation to Feral Fixers

Read about the "Roof Cats" abandoned in Chicago suburb ROOF CATS - A woman was foreclosed upon. Before she left, she opened her upstairs windows, allowing the cats out on the roof. What could she have been thinking?

All the Roof cats love to be petted, are very affectionate. Gets along well with each other, so we believe they would be fine with other cats. Not sure how they would be around dogs. Would not do well with young children or in a noisy, busy household.
ale all orange tabby.
