My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Tigger. Tigger is a very active and playful young cat. He was abandoned here at the shelter and now needs a new furever home. He misses being able to look out windows and watching the birdies. He is young and very active and playful. He is bonded with Sugar and they will go together as a pair. Tigger loves playing with cardboard boxes and will jump in and out of them. He thinks that's fun! He is in a foster home right now with Sugar so that they aren't sitting in a cage. We try very hard to find the perfect match for the cats and dogs in our care with the families who seek to adopt a new pet. ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE RESCUED FROM MASSACHUSETTS AND HOUSED IN MASSACHUSETTS. WE DO NOT "RESCUE" ANIMALS FROM OUT-OF-STATE- CATS AND DOGS DIE EVERY DAY IN MASSACHUSETTS. THEREFORE, WE SAVE AND ADOPT OUT ONLY LOCAL ANIMALS. You can visit our animals at any time and as often as you like, PRIOR to adopting. We are always in need of new temporary foster homes for dogs - every foster home means another dog saved. Our adoption process begins with a phone interview and after that we set up a time for potential adopters to come meet the cats or dogs that we think might be a good match.
