My story

America was born in August. She is the sister to Amos, a chocolate male that we had in rescue that was blind. America is also blind, but do not let that fool you.Once she is familiar with the home she lives in, she gets around like any other sighted dog! She plays with other dogs, is house and crate trained, and like her brother has a wonderful personality that has you falling in love with her instantly! America is learning to play ball with her foster sister! She will do fine anywhere she goes. She is a very calm girl who will work in a home with children or with an elderly couple! Our adoption fee is $250.00 per dog. If you adopt 2 dogs through our organization, we deduct $50.00 off the 2nd adoption. All puppies & dogs are current on shots, (including 1 year rabies on puppies older then 6 months) wormed, heart worm negative & on preventative treatment for heart worms & fleas, spayed or neutered (over 8 weeks), micro chipped, routine examination by a licensed vet, and treated for any ailments found. All of the dogs adopted through Greater Dayton Lab Rescue are living in foster care in our homes. We can tell you how the animal interacts with other dogs, cats & children & if this pet would be best for your household. We at Greater Dayton Lab rescue want to supply you with the highest quality rescue pet available. A good temperament is most important to us. Make your next pet, a rescue pet.
