My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chicka, a female 1.5 year old chihuahua. She is very friendly, but very scared. She shakes quite often, doesn't make a sound, but lets ACO hold her and comfort her. Chicka was brought to the shelter from Clay Center Animal Control Officer due to an incident involving two other dogs. Though Chicka was there, at the wrong place, wrong time, he has been banned from ever going back to Clay Center. Since arriving at the Concordia Animal Shelter, she has been doing just okay. She really needs to be in a home where there is constant praise and physical touch. Though she is coming out of her shell while in the shelter, being her forever home should really help her to know what TLC is. Through some Safer Assessment testing, she does not show any aggression at this time and would make a great addition to any family.


The adoption fee is $150.00 and includes vaccinations, de-wormer, spay/neuter, heart worm test and rabies. City tags are also included with adoption for residents of Concordia, Ks.
