My name is Buttercup. They tell me it’s a term of endearment and I like that. I am a sweet young female Shar-Pei @ 9 months to a year of age. I wish I could talk so I could tell you what happened, but I was found by the people at animal control tied to their flag pole out front when they came to work one morning. They kept me safe for a few days hoping I had just been lost and was found by someone who thought my family might come there looking for me. When no one came for me they called NASPR. A volunteer came right down to get me and they have taken care of me ever since. I’m a petite girl at just over 30 lbs. but they say I’m a little thin. My eyes were painful from untreated entropion but they are keeping medicine in my eyes which makes them feel so much better. I’ll be going to see my new friends at the vets office to get my eyes fixed very soon. I am very loving and enjoy the company of everyone, 2 legged and 4 legged, big and small. I’ll be ready for my forever home soon. Will you please ask for me…Buttercup.
