Please also be aware that all of our cats and kittens will only be adopted out to homes which do not plan on having them de-clawed.
If this is something you feel is important, however, we do have quite a few cats that come into the rescue already de-clawed by their former owners. These guys and gals are of all ages, cuddly and very affectionate. We would overjoyed to put you in contact with them if you are at all interested.
UPDATE: Due to several recent tragedies involving young kittens and children (which could have been prevented) smaller/younger kittens will only be adopted out to homes with children 8 years of age or older.
Meet Dobie!
This little lad is one of the 2 remaining kittens we still have available. Their moms all came from a home of 11 cats in some very sad circumstances. Unfortunately, their elderly owner had dementia and has since been moved on to an assisted living facility. And so his cats (who were very well loved, but also medically and nutritionally neglected) have been taken into rescue.
Dobie is a very curious and energetic little 10 month old furball who is very feisty and relatively outgoing once hets to know you. Never one to just sit around when there's some action going on somewhere (anywhere), he is also very alert and playful and is going to make someone a wonderful and endearing companion to have around the house. His ongoing antics will, no doubt, keep you on your toes while at the same time charming you with their innocent intentions.
Dobie is up to date on all age-appropriate shots, is feline leuk/ FIV negative, healthy and now ready for a home and family he can call his own.
