Posted March 18th...Meet Tammy, a very, very sweet, cuddly 8 week old kitten who is a dream kitty. She is very small for her age and will likely not grow to be a large adult. She is not only beautiful, but she has an equally impressive personality. She loves being held, and loves to play. She is super sweet, playful, and friendly. She will make a perrrrfect companion. Tammy is a doll who you really need to meet to appreciate.
Tammy came from Chicago Animal Control with her siblings Blizzard, Fluffy and Stormy when they where about 3 weeks old. They are ready now to end their journey by finding a furever family that will stay committed for the rest of their lives. Stormy and blizzard of course have found homes already. The black kitties are usually the last to be adopted. Only very special people, can truely appreciate all animals and give no regard to them being black. Are you that special person?
Looking at her adorable face through the cage, and seeing her personality, it's hard to imagine how such a wonderful kitty could end up alone and unwanted, at animal control. Lucky for her, we saw her face, knew her loving potential and saved her so she could meet a wonderful family deserving of her love. She would be the perfect pet to add to any family - with or without children. A very gentle, loving kitty that you HAVE to come and meet. See for yourself what a great kitty she is.
She is being fostered with her siblings in a foster home in Oswego. We do not have a facility, and so if your adoption application is aprpoved, you would then proceed to make an appointment with the foster family to meet this fabulous kitty. She is being fostered around children and the resident cat and is wonderful with them all as long as your children are respectful at how small these kitties are, and now how to handle them properly. The children in the foster home are doing a spectaluar job of socializing Tammy. She is always being held and loved.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save them.
The adoption fee of $150.00 includes: Her spaying through one of our partner vets when she is old enough, kitty box trained, microchip, FeLv/FIV testing which was negative, 1st Distemper-panleukopenia-calicivirus-chlamydia- rhinotracheitis vaccination, metronidazole, deworming, albon and revolution for flea preventative. You will also receive a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital, Midwest Animal Hospital in Orland Park or Wheaton Animal Hospital, and a coupon booklet for Petco.
