My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Paulie. I am about 3 years old and I have an unknown past, but my foster mom thinks it could have been a rough one. She calls me an "old soul". I take a bit to warm up to people. It's not that I dislike them, its because I don't want my heart broken again. People have left me my whole life. Once I do warm up, I ADORE my family. I come out of my shell slowly but once I do I love love love to show you how good I am, and how much I love you with kisses. I like to chase the cats so a cat free home would be best, or a home where the cats live in another part of the house I can't get to. Mom thinks it's just my desire to play and interact with other animals because I do love to play, but she says it's for everyone's "safety". The doctor thinks I am for sure under a year old.. like 9-10 months old, so consider the fact that I have been left so many times I don't think my heart can withstand being left again, and need a home that will keep me for life. I live with a 4 year old boy, and he is nice. I just don't like him to lay on my back, so he doesn't anymore and now we can play and be friends. I live with 2 other dogs too! I love other dogs! Consider me for your home, Ill be the best dog you can ask for! I promise.
Note~*~ Paulie is interested in cats, and an experienced cat and pit owner could house the two happily, but the cat would have to be dog saavy as well.
