My story

My name is Buckley. I am eight years old and I weigh 12 pounds. I am a "teddy" Rat Terrier, as I have short legs and I'm sort of a chubby guy. I'm neutered, housebroken, I walk well on a leash, and I love back scratches. I also like to "talk" to my people when they play with me. I had some very loving owners a few years ago, but they grew old and went over the Rainbow Bridge without me. I was left alone in their big house, but twice a day, their son came and fed and walked me. I was a very lonely guy. One day, a nice lady came and picked me up and brought me to a farm. It is a wonderful place, with a big house, large yard and plenty of nice things to smell. I love it there because I can explore all I want and I get good things to eat. My fostermom has helped me reduce my waistline considerably, since I was a "fat boy" when I arrived. When I explore, I never go too far, and I come right back when I'm called. It is a nice place, but I sure wish I could find a wonderful home where I can settle in and be a good boy. Do you have space for me? If you'd like to see more pictures of me just click here.
