My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Izzy, pulled from Walker County Animal Shelter 3/1/​12, italian greyhound mix or Rat Terrier Mix, 1.5 years old, UTD on shots, 18 lbs, HW+ (will begin slow treatment in April), spayed, crate trained, housetrained, and walks well on a leash. She even "chairs up" so you do not have to bend over to put her leash on. . Izzy loves to be in your lap at all times. She would be the ideal companion for an older couple who want a lap puppy. She is a little testy with other dogs bigger than her so a dog her size would be better. She would do best with children who are older (7+). Izzy is ready for adoption but will need to continue her slow kill treatment so her adopter will have to oversee that!
