My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Juliet. My brother, Romeo and I were left in a tied up hamper outside of Alliance for Animals. We were very lucky that an employee came along when they did because it was trash day and we were right next to some barrels. I shudder to think what could have happened. Please come and see us, we are very nice and deserve a good home.

We try very hard to find the perfect match for the cats and dogs in our care with the families who seek to adopt a new pet. ALL OF OUR ANIMALS ARE RESCUED FROM MASSACHUSETTS AND HOUSED IN MASSACHUSETTS. WE DO NOT "RESCUE" ANIMALS FROM OUT-OF-STATE- CATS AND DOGS DIE EVERY DAY IN MASSACHUSETTS. THEREFORE, WE SAVE AND ADOPT OUT ONLY LOCAL ANIMALS. You can visit our animals at any time and as often as you like, PRIOR to adopting. We are always in need of new temporary foster homes for dogs - every foster home means another dog saved. Our adoption process begins with a phone interview and after that we set up a time for potential adopters to come meet the cats or dogs that we think might be a good match.
