I'm Gertie and I am a 2 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. I'm not too sure about new people. I get frightened and want to hide. Once you talk to me and pet me, I'm easily convinced that you are a friend and just want more and more. I would love someone to show me a life of love, patience and biscuits! I try not to make messes in my kennel. If I do, I feel very ashamed. I have a lot of love to give to the right person who spots me and thinks I'm the greatest. It's hard for me to stand out because I don't jump up and bark at people when they walk by. Please give me a chance to steal your heart!
