Buddy is most unusual compared to our usual rescues
After reading up on and also sending Buddy's picture to someone that knows cat breeds, we are pretty sure that he is part Bengal. No WONDER he looks different and exotic! Of course, we can't say this for certain....but he looks an awful lot like a Bengal kitten. I know someone that raised and bred them....she tells me that they are quite affectionate and have the disposition of a domesticated cat.
Michele feeds many community cats that live in colonies
(we believe all kitties should get to eat,and get a chance to not re- produce, and being on the highest scale, top of the food chain, as human guardians, IT IS our responsibility to care for the helpless, ALL OF US!
We also trap them, fix them, and re release back to their own colony.
Buddy Boy was trapped and upon his day of neuter, it was ascertained at the vet clinic by a vet tech that this is a tame kitty. We got the call right away to come see, we did. SURE enough, he is
We go where certain people get FREE kittens, for their kids, mostly, and as soon as they get past the cuddly (TOY) stage, the mother's throw them out, to fend for themselves.
THIS little guy was lucky, and a feral mom took him under her paw..
We are very grateful to her,(the cat mommy) and are in the process of TRYING to get her fixed, (very smart she is)!
Buddy Boy is dewormed, has had one vac, is neutered and microchipped, is sweet, and purry and playful. He's OK with other kitties and non-agressive dogs. He's also fine with older children.
