Lola is a stunning girl who is about 2-3 years old and about 40 pounds. She has a gorgeous and unique coat pattern that we just love! A good Samaritan found her wedged between two fences, unable to free herself. It looks like at some point she had a broken leg that healed on its own. This family has decided to keep her until a new home can be found for her.
Lola just loves all people, and that includes kiddos! (she wants to get in your lap as soon as you sit down and just wants to lick you and be close).
Lola plays well with other dogs (both small and large). She was very uneasy around my dogs the first day I brought her home but now as you can see from pictures she plays with them and they get along fine. She currently lives with two male dogs and she loves playing tug of war with them, or fetch with us! She'd enjoy having a canine friend to play with, but could also be an only dog. While I was out of town, Lola stayed with my friend, who has a small dog. Lola was absolutely wonderful with that dog. My friend described her as an angel!
Lola doesn't mind at all when humans take food or other resources away from her and she drinks from same bowl as my dogs and eats with them (although they have separate bowls), also my dogs have stolen her treats literally from her mouth and she did not react.
Lola is kennel trained and goes in without a problem. She knows sit and stay. She also knows the word out (to direct her to leave the kitchen/another room). She is a faster learner and we'd love to see her in a family that will teach her a few more things too!
Lola is potty trained (she had one accident in my house before she knew how to use doggy door) and she uses a doggy door.
She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped before going to her new home. A $100 adoption fee applies.
Lola is a courtesy post and not an official member of Tough Love Pit Bull Rescue. Please contact stepniakaneta@yahoo.com or 954-245-5458 to inquire about Lola.
